This arises when the farm or business owner approaches retirement. Detailed consideration to be given as to the manner in which family assets are to be transferred and divided so as to achieve a balance between maintaining a viable farm and business, and meeting obligations to other family members.

In addition, we will advise on tax implications of property transfer and devise strategy and property transfer plan to minimise taxation and inheritance issues associated with this. We liaise with your solicitor on such issues.
